High Level of Repeat Business
Over 33% of our guests are returning or we have been recommended.
Even though the guest house has an excellent ranking with Google it still gets over 33% of it’s business from returning guests and recommendations.
If there is one thing that I soon realised about buying an established guest house is the critical importance of repeat business. Suzy and I have been here since March 2006 and we still get guest booking in and telling us that they stayed here the last time they were in Dumfries.
Sometimes it can be ten years since their last visit but guests still seek out the same place to stay.
In a competitive market it can take many years to achieve a sustainable level of repeat business.
